The system stops checking in at 18. We don’t. PREEA is a small, stubborn charity led by people who’ve been through the care system themselves. We sit with young people through the bits no one explains, and stay around long after the paperwork closes.
Leaving care isn’t one problem you can solve in a corner. It’s housing and your head and figuring out who you are, all in the same week. So we work across all of it.
